Meet Jared

My journey with Evolutionary Astrology began in 2018 while navigating the aftermath of a serious eye infection that permanently damaged the vision in my left eye. Compounded with other issues that were surfacing at the time, I felt like my world was dissolving beneath my feet and I turned to astrology for answers.

My first Evolutionary Astrology reading was profound. It inspired me to go deeper and have many more astrological counseling sessions over the following years. Each reading delved into different facets of my being, challenging me to confront myself in both light and shadow. More than self-knowledge, the insights gave me a new level self-intimacy that transformed the way I related to myself and to my life.

Certain that I wanted to bring this kind of service to others, in January 2021 I joined Michael DeBaker’s EA School Online and began an in-depth training for this work. By July 2023 I became a certified Evolutionary Astrologer and Inner Moonlight Astrology was born. I am in continuing studies with the EA School Online through mid-2025 exploring the pairing of Evolutionary Astrology with Existential Psychotherapy. 

“Inner Moonlight” is inspired by my life-long challenge of learning to listen to my intuition and trust the emotional honesty of my inner knowing. Over the years, I had to learn that everyone- including astrologers- will have a different opinion, perspective, or interpretation of reality, but only I can speak for what I know in my heart to be true for me.

I like to think that as an astrologer, I’m an interpreter of symbols offering a reflection, but the truth that is activated when it lands in your system is what is most important. Listening to the subtle dialogue within, did the interpretation resonate, or did it not? What was illuminated for you to see?

Inner Moonlight is about embracing the honesty of who you really are. It’s about realigning with your essence and deeply listening to what your heart is telling you. My hope is that the self-knowledge that comes from astrology could help you form a deeper relationship with what is sacred within you.

Alongside astrology, I enjoy painting, traveling, learning about natural health and well-being, and spending time in nature.

I’m currently training to become a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and cannot wait to eventually offer breathwork sessions in tandem with astrology readings. Stay tuned for this offering later in 2025.

I have Pluto in the 9th house Scorpio, the North Node in the 12th house Capricorn, and my moon is a skipped step. ;)
